Description

Fire Retardant MS Polymer Sealant Alseal AS-4003 is a single-component moisture-curing sealant. It is based on advanced MS Polymer technology, providing flexibility in fire-resistant joints. The sealant complies with fire safety requirements BS EN 1366-4:2021.

AS-4003S MS Sealant is waterproof and can be painted with standard industrial paints. The MS sealant layer does not shrink after curing. The isocyanate-free formula allows it to be used on damp surfaces and prevents air bubbles from forming. Even without a primer, it has excellent adhesion to various substrates. It is an environmentally friendly sealant developed in accordance with low-volatile organic compound (VOC) requirements.

Applications

Recommended for sealing all construction and structural joints and provides fire protection for expansion and deformation joints.

Fire Retardant MS Polymer Sealant AS-4003 is used for sealing internal and external expansion joints where fire resistance of up to 4 hours is required. In precast and monolithic concrete, expansion and working joints, structures with lifting and turning devices, brick and block masonry, fibre cement boards, drywall, etc.

It is also used as a sealant and gap filler to prevent the penetration of dust and water. Additionally, it is used for sealing joints, voids, and uneven holes in firewalls, partitions, and other structures.
